Last Friday, The year eights went to Technology in Kaikohe at the Kaikohe Intermediate. Last week was our last week sadly! On Friday my partner and I (Zephaniah) made an apple cake. We were unable to make a powerpoint because the wifi was cut out at the Kaikohe Intermediate. There was no wifi for the whole day. It didn't really bother us because it was fun to make an Apple Cake for the first time. We also had to create something out of mince, bacon, cheese, bread, bread rolls, chutney and many more things. Zephaniah and I started off by making our Apple Cake because that was going to be our dish that was yet hot cut cooled down. When we finished cooking our cake and we done all of our dishes, we got onto making our next dish which included Mince, cheesy bread rolls, bacon and Tomato Sauce. They tasted delicious. The Bacon was crunchy and the cheese on top of the bread rolls tasted marvellous. After Zephaniah, Hanah,Ngaro and I cleaned our table and our dishes, we all made our way outside onto the asphalt aka terf to play handball. They we spotted everyone storming over towards us like a herd of Elephants to play. At the end of the day we had a lot of fun and we ended it off with a large game of handball.
