Twinkle, Twinkle, Little star.

Yesterday, during reading both of our clases had a task to complete. Our task was to rewrite a piece of writing the exact same way that it said on the paper. We also had to find all the mistakes and comment on the side with the correct answer. It took us about 15 minutes to complete the task and most of us got it all correct. One other task that we done was finding figuring out as much words as we could starting with the word star because the name of our reading was Twinkle, Twinkle, Little star. One last thing, All of the highlighted words are mistakes. I hope you enjoy!!

W.A.L.T: find, discuss and explain all punctuation.

              twinkle, twinkle, little stars
You may be suprised to learn that stars actually
never do no twinkling at all! When you look at a
star they are seeing them through the thick layers of air that make up the earths atmosfere. When the
stars light pases threw these layers of air, the light is
bent or ´refracted´ differently by each layer. This is
because of mosturre in the air as well as diffrently air
temperatures and the movement of the air. Together,
it make the starlight seem to be moving, witch we see
as twinkling.

Ki O Rahi training🏆🏁⚾

So this week even though it just started, We have been training up for our Ki O Rahi tournament next friday and it is coming our way extremely faster than what we thought. Yesterday, we were divided into groups of seven and we versed each and every team, there were four groups and the winning group got to verse the other teams waiting on the sideline. We placed first place, but we had a variety of very competitive teams that honestly new how to strategize and utilize their whole team. But yet again we done our best and strived to the end. We have been organised to train all week so that we are prepared for next friday. But of course there is always a catch to going to tournaments and our catch is that we have to be perfect this whole week. Which means we are not allowed to be sent to the pricipalś office, get sent to the white table, be on the teachers bad radar or not listening in general. We will have to strive and try our best to keep on track so that we do not get pulled out of the Ki O Rahi team. How can I do this?, I asked myself... Well my plan is to stay on the teachers ecstatic radar, consistently do my homework and just hope and hope that I get picked to represent Tautoro School at the Ki O rahi tournament, hosted at the Lindvart Park Kaikohe. Thank you for reading!

Coding work...

WE are learning about computational thinking. We have learnt how to write an algorithm to get a pirate to the treasure chest. We made our own coding programme and challenged a friend to solve it.
In order to be successful, I had to remember to make sure that my instructions were specific.
